My practice is around 75% concerned with African disputes. I frequently appoint and work with African practitioners and arbitrators. I am currently supporting the development of arbitration and arbitration centres in several African jurisdictions including Mauritius and Kenya.

Biography
Duncan is a partner at Howard Kennedy LLP in London. He has experience as counsel in numerous cases relating to African projects and contracts, particularly in the energy sector. Duncan has appeared before numerous arbitration tribunals, and before all courts of England and Wales, including the UK Supreme Court. He also acts as an arbitrator and he is a Fellow of CIArb (UK).

Duncan is a board member of Nyumbani UK, a charity supporting children in Kenya, and Chair of a UK charity which supports disadvantaged young adults. Duncan is a mentor for the Nigerian Association of Young Arbitrators Mentoring scheme
