Biography
Nyasha is a young Arbitrator and currently practicing law in Zimbabwe. He completed his LLB(Honors)Degree with the University of Zimbabwe in February 2009 and also obtained a Master of Laws. Nyasha is currently the Managing Partner of a law firm in Zimbabwe called Muvingi| Mugadza Legal Practitioners. Nyasha has 13 years experience as a legal practitioner and has handled several matters as lead or co counsel in Zimbabwe. Nyasha heads the Corporate, Labour and Alternative Dispute Resolutions Department within the firm. Nyasha also has experience as lead counsel under the Commercial Arbitration Centre(Zimbabwe) ,African Institution of Mediation and Arbitration(AIMA) and the International Chamber of Commerce. In pursuit of his avid interest in Alternative dispute resolution Nyasha is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) NPC.
Nyasha is currently a member of the Young Members Group under the CIArb(UK) where he is the Ambassador for Zimbabwe.He is also a member of the London Court of International Arbitration and a member of the International Bar Association and an active member of the Arbitration Committee under IBA .Nyasha has written articles on arbitration which have been published in its IBA journal on arbitration . Nyasha is also part of the 2023 cohorts of the Africa Arbitration Academy.
