Joint Egypt Branch- CRCICA Events 1 November, 2023
From July till November 2023, the Ciarb Egypt Branch jointly with CRCICA (the seat of the Branch) organized interesting events conducted by eminent speakers; topics included “Claims under the International AACE Conference 2023” (organized with the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering AACE Greater Cairo Section), the Jurisdiction of the Arbitral Tribunal in light of modern judicial applications in Egypt and the Gulf states, Legal Challenges arising from Dispute Boards, Compensation: Reparation of damage or remedy: An overview under Aristotle thoughts and contemporary legal thinking, Egypt Sovereign Rating – Caa1 with a Stable Outlook by Moody’s, and FIDIC 2017 Contracts as now amended – What it all means in practice. Notably, on the occasion of the closing of the second cycle of the CIArb Egypt Branch Mentoring Programme and the launch of the third cycle (May 2023- May 2024), the Branch organized a networking in August 2023 for the second and third Networking Cycles.
