MIAC Appoints New Registrar12 August, 2024On 12 August 2024, the Mauritius International Arbitration Centre (MIAC) appointed Mr. Karim M’ziani as the Registrar of MIAC. Mr. M’ziani will lead the MIAC Secretariat going forward. His appointment as Registrar of MIAC reflects the PCA’s ongoing support of the development of Mauritius as a venue for international arbitration. Prior to joining MIAC, Mr. M’ziani worked at leading law firms in France and the United States on high profile State-to-State, investor-State and commercial disputes involving parties from the African continent and beyond. Mr. M’ziani is a graduate of Duke University and Paris Dauphine University. He is admitted to practice in New York and Paris, and speaks English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin. Mr. M’ziani also serves as Legal Counsel at the International Bureau of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). |
